Tomorrow is my first official day of Thanksgiving break! If today is anything to go by, I have high hopes for the rest of it.
Classes were pretty relax; watched a video in English, had a test in Math though, which I think I did well on, and had a party for science. Best of all though, we had a Jazz band come in and play for us during Band class. They had a base player, and he actually let me pluck the base! I was so ridiculously excited; I'd forgotten how much I missed playing cello. Tom, the base player, showed me how the fingerings are different between cello and base, and when I was standing there plucking he told me I had good form hand-wise.
I hated that I ended up having to run off to class to avoid being late, but talking with him and the drummer (Willy I think? He's an old friends of Mr. E, our band director, from his drum quad days) was really worth it. Might even be considering Jazz camp for the summer.
